⁣⁢The mini-medal is a modern interpretation of Scrooge McDuck's famous lucky coin.
This 10-cent American coin is the first coin the character earned in his youth, after cleaning Burt the Lamplighter's shoes. This coin inspired Balthazar Scrooge McDuck to work hard to achieve his desires. It will forever remain Scrooge McDuck's symbol of success through hard work.⁤⁣

The lucky coin is in a gold-plated version: 1 micron of gold on the medal.

OBVERSE

The obverse of the mini-medal features Scrooge McDuck's portrait. His name "Balthazar Scrooge McDuck" and "lucky coin" are engraved in the exergue. The entire design is surrounded by a beaded border.

⁣⁢REVERSE⁤⁣

On the reverse of the mini-medal is engraved the inscription "1 sou". A laurel wreath is depicted in a semi-circle around the edge of the mini-medal, a numismatic symbol dating back to antiquity. A beaded border adorns the perimeter. At the bottom center is the Disney copyright, attesting to the collaboration between the Monnaie de Paris and the famous animation house.

The mini-medal comes in an individual pouch, which highlights the character Scrooge McDuck, allowing for the presentation and preservation of the lucky coin. 

This version of the lucky coin is sold in a capsule within a presentation case, with a certificate of authenticity and a slipcase.
