Golden Landscapes - Scottish Highlands - 10 Dollar Silver Coin - Proof 2026
OBVERSE
The obverse of this silver coin depicts the majestic Scottish Highlands in a sweeping, evocative composition. Successive layers of mountains rise throughout the design, their rugged surfaces rendered with striking texture and sculptural force. At the foot of the hills, a ruined castle stands solitary, surrounded by the silence of the open spaces and a distant memory. Partial gold plating illuminates the valleys and foreground like the setting sun on the moors, while an antique finish accentuates every ridge, shadow, and stone. At the bottom of the reverse is the inscription “SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS” – the name of the coin. Hidden on the left side of the landscape, a small fox appears as a subtle detail, almost swallowed by the wilderness.
REVERSE
The reverse of this silver coin features the profile effigy of King Charles III, serene and dignified, against a delicately textured background. All around the obverse are the following inscriptions: “10 DOLLARS” – the face value, “CHARLES III” – the monarch’s name, “2026” – the year of issue, and “COOK ISLANDS” – the issuing country.
