world-renowned painter as the 2nd member of the "Masters of Art" series. Claude Monet, November 14, 1840 – December 5, 1926, is one of the founders of French Impressionist painting.
He adopted the movement's philosophy of expressing one's perceptions of nature, especially in landscapes.
The art master particularly loved the water lilies that grew
in the pond in his garden at Giverny. He painted approximately 250 individual paintings until the end of his life. The painting in the background of Claude's self-portrait is displayed in all its splendor at the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris.⁤⁣
