OBVERSE

created by Jean-Antoine Houdon. The inscription in a crown reads: "Benjamin Franklin
born in Boston January 17, 1706." The letters "RF" and the year 2025 are integrated to the left
and right of the bust.⁤⁣

REVERSE

⁣⁢On the reverse, a winged genius pushing lightning towards a lightning rod is depicted in the
center, referencing Benjamin Franklin's invention of the lightning rod. He walks beside
a broken scepter and crown. Along the crown, we can read "He
snatched lightning from the heavens and the scepter from tyrants." The face value and mint marks
are to the right of the composition.⁤⁣
