OBVERSE
The inner part of the coin depicts the old cathedral of Salamanca which, together with the new cathedral to which it is attached, forms the cathedral complex of the city of Salamanca. It is an episcopal see of the diocese. Dedicated to Santa Maria de la Sede, it was founded at the beginning of the 12th century by Bishop Bérenger. Its construction, in Romanesque then Gothic styles, was carried out until the 14th century. Along the upper rim, the inscription "Salamanca," at the bottom, the name of the issuing country "ESPANA," and the year of issue "2025" with the mint mark of the Spanish Mint.
