The engraving for this coin was carried out by the engraving workshop of the Monnaie de Paris based on illustrations from the graphic charter of the film The Fellowship of the Ring.

OBVERSE

⁣⁢The One Ring is featured in the center of the coin, sparkling and golden, attracting all eyes and desires. This element is highlighted by the high relief strike.
Frodo strives throughout the narrative to resist its power. Gandalf himself says not to tempt him with this object of power, to which he might too easily succumb. Gollum, driven mad by the Ring's power, will seek to seize it by any means. The Witch-king of Angmar, long lost to Sauron's cause, wants to retrieve the Ring and return it to his master.
Beyond the Ring, we can distinguish Sauron's eye, which sees all from its lair in the desolate lands of Mordor.⁤⁣

REVERSE

⁣⁢The reverse of this coin depicts the One Ring, overlooking Sauron's eye. Its
inscription, written in Black Speech and traced in Tengwar, is revealed here by the flames of Mount Doom. Each reverse is engraved with the face value, the mint marks of Monnaie de Paris, the mention RF (French Republic), as well as the year 2026 and the New Line Production copyright relating to The Lord of the Rings saga.⁤⁣
