OBVERSE

Belgium on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The inner part of the coin depicts curved lines around a rectangle bearing the number 60. Above the design is the year of issue 2008, and below it, the inscription UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS. The country's name in the three official languages BELGIE — BELGIQUE — BELGIEN is inscribed in a semicircle at the bottom. The mint mark and the mark of the Commissioner of Mints appear on the left and right, respectively.
