OBVERSE

The obverse of the 10€ Silver Proof colorized coin depicts the busts of Marten Soolmans and Oopjen Coppit. The names of the subjects, the painter, and the year of issue separate the two paintings. The edge of the coin is decorated with the original frames of the portraits as well as the museums where they are housed alternately: the Rijksmuseum at the bottom and the Louvre at the top.

REVERSE

The reverse, common to the entire collection, depicts the Louvre building as seen from the inner courtyard. In the foreground is the famous Louvre Pyramid, through which we see an essential artwork: the Winged Victory of Samothrace. The name of the museum is inscribed at the bottom of the pyramid, as are the mint marks at the ends. The mention "RF" and the face value appear above the roofs of the Louvre Palace.
