CThis Austria series in an annual presentation box includes the eight euro coin denominations for the year 2009, struck in BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) quality.

- Coins of 1, 2, and 5 cents - elements of flora including a gentian, an edelweiss, a traditional symbol of Austrian identity, and the alpine primrose, all from the floral series, which recalls Austria's ecological duty and its role in implementing a community environmental policy.
- Coins of 10, 20, and 50 cents - St. Stephen's Cathedral, one of the jewels of Viennese Gothic architecture; the Belvedere, one of the most beautiful Baroque palaces in Austria; and the Secession Building in Vienna, a symbol of the birth of Art Nouveau in Austria.
- 1 Euro Coin - effigy of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his signature, the famous Austrian composer, in tribute to the country's musical culture.
- 2 Euro Commemorative Coin - Euro 2009 commemoration of the 10 years of economic and monetary union.

The inner part illustrates a stylized human silhouette whose left arm is extended by the euro symbol. It conveys the idea that the single currency, and by extension the Economic and Monetary Union, are the culmination of Europe's long history of trade and economic integration.
