The Monnaie de Paris is also honoring the Louvre as a museum in 2025 on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the passing of Dominique-Vivant Denon, who was the first director of the musée du Louvre and director of the Monnaie des Médailles, one of the historical entities of the Monnaie de Paris.
