OBVERSE

 Belgium commemorates the centenary of the Belgian-Luxembourgish Economic Union. This Belgian-Luxembourgish Economic Union (BLEU) treaty was signed on July 25, 1921. The economic and monetary relations between the Kingdom of Belgium and Luxembourg developed within this framework. Between 1944 and 1999 (introduction of the euro), the Belgian franc and the Luxembourgish franc had the same parity. Two versions are offered: one in Flemish and the other in Walloon.
