On the obverse, a design commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Central Bank of Cyprus, symbolically illustrating the stability of the economy thanks to it, in the current industrial and digital era, with tools developing an electronic chip; in the lower part, the name of the issuing country in Greek ΚΥΠΡΟΣ and in Turkish KIBRIS (CYPRUS), the founding year of the banking institution, 1963, and the year of issue, 2023; along the ring, the legend “60 ΧΡOΝΙΑ ΑΠO ΤΗΝ IΔΡΥΣΗ ΤΗΣ ΚΕΝΤΡΙKHΣ ΤΡAΠΕΖΑΣ ΤΗΣ ΚYΠΡΟΥ” (in English “60 YEARS SINCE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF CYPRUS”); on the ring, the twelve emblematic five-pointed European stars pointing upwards.
