The inscription "REPU­BLIKA SLOVENIJA", surmounted by the inscription "25 LET", appears in the upper part of the coin, to the right of the oblique line. Below these inscriptions are the words "dočákat’ dan" from the hand of the poet France Prešeren, taken from the Slovenian national anthem, Zdravljica. The year "2016" appears at the bottom of the inner disc.⁤⁣
