OBVERSE 

The coin was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first blood transfusion in Slovakia. The design is based on a composition with a repetitive rhythm of circles. In the center of the smallest circle, in the central part of the coin, there is a drop symbol and a cross with blood group symbols. In the second circle, a repeated pattern with a drop of blood is inlaid, and in the next circle, the theme of the coin "Prvá transfúzia krvi" (First Blood Transfusion), the dates "1923-2023", and the name of the issuing country "Slovensko" (Slovakia) are indicated.
