The inner part of the room represents the elements of the primitivo and the Orecchiette being part of the Italian gastronomic culture. This is represented in the foreground by Altamura bread, pasta, a glass of primitivo wine and olives. At the bottom the year of emission "2022" and the nominal value "5 euro as well as the letter" R "of the currency of Rome.
On the reverse the composition represents the region of Puglia with an olive tree, a dolphin on waves, a dry stone wall, picturesque houses of Alberobello and the Grottaglie pine cone. In legend the inscription "Republica Italiana" with the signature of the artist Marta Bonifacio at the bottom right.
