After the Semeuse, Hercules, Le Coq and Marianne, La Monnaie de Paris honors 2020 to 2022, a new collection: Nature of France. This highlights the beauty of nature through three strong numismatic symbols: oak, bay leaf and wheat. Year 2022 values ​​wheat. Fruit of the earth par excellence, wheat is synonymous with wealth and abundance. THEwheat is visible through this allegory with a woman wearing wheat germs or holding a horn of abundance from which spikes. Wheat is therefore a very strong numismatic symbol.

On the face, the ears of wheat are in the center of the room. Fruit of the earth par excellence, the many ears in the background make references to the symbolism of wealth and abundance. Representing the summer and therefore seeds, wheat is often taken up in the allegory of the Summer bearing ears or wheat germs during harvest periods. The upper part is surrounded by the motto of the French Republic: "Freedom, Equality, Fraternity". A pearl making the outline of the play brings a cachet of elegance to the latter and recalls old graphics of French currencies.

The reverse is common to the series. It presents the three symbols of nature taken up in this collection: oak, bay leaf and wheat. A hexagon is inserted in the decor, representing France. The laurel branch on the left and the branch of oak on the right adorn this hexagon. We find the ear of wheat in the center of the reverse. This is crowned by the facial value and surrounded by the mention "French Republic". The engraving punches are visible on both sides of the branch and oak branches. A pearl making the outline of the play brings a cachet of elegance to the latter and recalls old graphics of French currencies.
