Each coin in this collection highlights one of the key characters from Astérix: either Astérix himself, Obélix, or Idéfix. The 10€ Silver coin features Idéfix. The obverse depicts the character's evolution from the creation of the comic book to the present day. The coin's background is covered in bubbles, echoing the comic book universe. 

The reverse is common to all three coins. It depicts Astérix emerging from a comic-book-style explosion. The cult character appears to have taken magic potion and looks determined, ready to go defeat the Romans.
