⁣⁢La Monnaie de Paris celebrates the 75th anniversary of the animated film Alice in Wonderland from Walt Disney
Studios in 2026.⁤⁣

⁣⁢In 1951, the adaptation of Lewis Carroll's novels tells the story of Alice, who follows a White
Rabbit down a hole and finds herself plunged into Wonderland, a strange world
populated by peculiar creatures. During this adventure, Alice notably crosses paths with a talking doorknob, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Caterpillar, as
well as the Mad Hatter and the March Hare celebrating a "unbirthday."
Her journey becomes increasingly absurd and chaotic, leading to a final
confrontation with the Queen of Hearts and her army of playing cards, and ultimately proves to be
nothing more than a dream from which Alice awakens in the real world.
