OBVERSE

⁣⁢The design is dominated by the coat of arms of the Slovak Republic, located in the center against a background of dynamic centripetal lines, symbolizing the position and importance of the Slovak Republic during its presidency of the Council of the European Union. To the right of the Slovak Republic's coat of arms is the year of issue, "2016". The inner circle features the country name, "SLOVENSKO" (Slovakia), and the inscription "PREDSEDNÍCTVO SR V RADE EÚ" (Slovak Presidency of the Council of the European Union), separated by graphic symbols.
