Below are the year "2002", "RF" the name of the issuing state of the French Republic, and the famous fairy tale opening "ONCE UPON A TIME...".

REVERSE

Snow White is a children's fairy tale created by the Brothers Grimm in 1812. The name of the tale is inscribed at the top of the coin "SNOW WHITE". In the center from left to right, the colorized depiction of Snow White, the seven dwarfs around the sleeping Snow White, and the portrait of the witch holding a poisoned apple. Further down, a mirror and a crown with the alpha symbol "α" and inside it the year 2002.
