OBVERSE

The obverse of this coin illustrates the bust of Benjamin Franklin, inspired by the sculpture created by Jean-Antoine Houdon. The inscription in a crown reads: "Benjamin Franklin born in Boston January 17, 1706." The "RF" mark and the year 2025 are integrated to the left and right of the bust.

REVERSE

On the reverse, a winged genius pushing lightning towards a lightning rod is depicted in the center, referencing Benjamin Franklin's invention of the lightning rod. He walks beside a broken scepter and crown. Along the crown, we can read: "He snatched lightning from the heavens and the scepter from tyrants." The face value and mint marks are to the right of the composition.
