⁣⁢Erected in the 12th century on the initiative of Bishop Maurice de Sully, Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral is a jewel of Gothic architecture that has dominated the Île de la Cité for over eight centuries. This year, the Monnaie de Paris celebrates the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris to the public by minting a 2-Euro commemorative coin, engraving for eternity the lines of this Gothic art jewel.⁤⁣
