⁣⁢The EpilepsieNL card consists of not one, but two medals. Some people with epilepsy also cannot be left alone. They need a healthy person by their side to help them when a seizure occurs. On the obverse of both medals, the head of a young girl is depicted; the brain is visible. The medal on the left represents the brain of a non-epileptic person. The medal on the right shows the same brain, but with UV color dots. This is the brain of an epileptic person. The dots show the brain dysfunctions that occur in epileptic individuals. On the reverse of the left medal is the EpilepsieNL logo and on the side the text: "130 jarig jubileum," which means: 130th anniversary. The right medal features the text "Samen in de aanval," which translates to "Standing together." This is the organization's motto. Above and below this text, the brain waves of an epileptic person are depicted.⁤⁣
