OBVERSE

The inner part of the coin depicts the head of a Bearded Vulture, a raptor from the region of Andorra. This large vulture, with a wingspan of up to nearly 3m and weighing 5 to 7kg, has unique characteristics: absence of bare areas on the head, neck, and chest, tarsi fully covered with feathers, narrow and angular wings, and a wedge-shaped tail. This bird is typically solitary. Its silhouette in flight resembles that of falcons, while its light flight is reminiscent of harriers. At the bottom of the coin are the name of the issuing country "Andorra" and the year of issue "2025".
