OBVERSE

At the bottom of the sphere are the inscriptions "ROTARY", "PORTUGAL", and the year of issue "2026". At the bottom right is the mint mark "CASA DA MOEDA", the national coat of arms in the center, and the creator's name "Esc. João Duarte" on the left. The outer ring is surrounded by twelve five-pointed stars representing the European Union.
