With the 2nd edition of our successful series "Big City Lights", we pay tribute to the Australian metropolis of Sydney. More than 5 million Sydneysiders, as are called the inhabitants of the city, spend their days and their nights in the largest city in Australia. In addition to the incredible coastline and the emblematic Bondi Beach, a world -known landmark point deserves a special place on our room: Sydney Opera. This architectural wonder, whose design recalls the sails of a boat in the port, was inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II 50 years ago, in 1973. We must not forget the size of the Opera with 185 meters Long and 120 meters wide, it has roof sections weighing up to 15 tonnes and more than a million tiles on its dazzling roof.
