Freedom guiding the people - money of € 50 money - BE 2023
Obverse
The face represents one of the most famous works ofEugène Delacroix : Liberty Leading the People, painted in 1830 representing Marianne brandishing the French flag. The currencies focus on Marianne and Gavroche. The stamp "Museum's masterpieces" which signs all the currencies in this series has been added at the top right and mixes with the work. The particularity of the € 10 money is that it is colorized. The 1⁄4 Oz Gold and the 10g silver are they expressed only in engraving. The Louvre museum, in which the work is on display is an integral part of the drawing since it represents one of the sections of the frame. The name of the work, that of the artist and the vintage 2023 Complete the decor around the table.
Reverse
The reverse is common to the series, it presents a mixture of views of several great French museums: top left, it is an interior view of the Orsay Museum, recognizable by his superb clock. Next to it, there is a view of the Louvre facade, visible from the Napoleon court (where the very famous pyramid is located).
