The Monnaie de Paris pays tribute to the greatest masterpieces present in French museums or having been painted in France.

The face of the currency mainly takes up the work. The portrait of Van Gogh is presented in close -up and rather occupies the right part of the currency. The lower supervision of the painting exhibits a view from the facade of the Orsay Museum from the Seine, where the work of art is preserved. The name of the painting as well as that of the artist are registered on the left part of the supervision. The stamp "Museum's masterpieces" which defines this series was added below the inscriptions on the left. The 2020 vintage appears at the bottom right of the artist's portrait. The reverse is common to the series, it presents a mixture of views of several major French museums.
