100th anniversary of the first election of the Irish National Assembly (1919-2019).

Obverse

The drawing represents the first session of the Dáil Éireann in the Round Room. The governance of the Irish nation began on January 21 and the session took place entirely in the Irish language to mark the symbolic nature of the meeting. The Grande Round Room of the Mansion House stops above the vast assembly of
first elected official of the nation. The words "An Chéad Dáil", in the center of the drawing, as well as the year "1919" at the top, are inscribed in a traditional style.
Downstairs are registered the name of the country and the year of program "Éire 2019".

The outside ring of the room represents the 12 stars of the European flag.
