50th anniversary of the accession to the throne of the Grand Duke Jean (1964-2014).

Obverse

The central part of the room bears the effigies of LL. AA. RR. The Grand Duke Henri and the Grand Duke Jean, his gaze turned to the left. A crown is represented at the top of the central part and the year "1964" is registered above the effigy of the Grand Duke Jean. The names "Jean" and "Henri" appear under their respective effigies and the year "2014" is inscribed in the bottom of the central part.
This set is surrounded, in the upper part of the central part, of the circular form inscription "50th anniversary of the accession to the throne of the Grand Duke Jean".
The outside ring of the room represents the twelve stars of the European flag.
