Obverse

The drawing shows on the right the effigy of his Royal Highness, the Grand Duke Henri, looking to the left, and on the left the effigy of Sar the Grand Duke Guillaume I. Between the two effigies are vertically represented the dates of the year "1772-1843" as well as the name "Guillaume Ier". Below, the Luxembourg text appears and the date of 2018. The exterior ring of the play represents the 12 stars of the European flag.
