To mark the countdown before the launch of the Games, the currency of Paris will strike in 2021 and for 4 years a currency of 2€ commemorative highlighting the Olympic Games through French numismatic figures.

This first currency presents Marianne in the middle of the race, overlooking the stadiumathleticsgames. We also find the Eiffel Tower in the background, symbolizing here the city of Paris.
