Centenary of the first flight since Malta (1915-2015).

Obverse

The device landed in the port after 55 minutes of flight. The room represents the seaplane of the captain kilmer and, in the background, Senglea Point, a famous site of the Grand Port. In the upper part, the inscription "First Flight from Malta" in a semicircle. On the right, the years "1915-2015". In the lower left part, the inscription "100th Anniversary" and, below, the initials of the artist "NGB" (Christmas Galea Bason).
The external ring of the room represents the twelve stars of the European flag.
