The inner part of the coin depicts the portraits of Italian judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino side by side. In the upper part, their names and the date of their assassination (1992). Also in the upper part, the issue year "2022" as well as the monogram of the Italian Republic "RI" and the Rome Mint mark "R".

The outer ring of the coin depicts the twelve stars of the European flag.
