OBVERSE

⁣⁢In the crown, the twelve stars of the European Community arranged in a circle. In the center, the bust of the unifier of the Italian peninsula, nicknamed the hero of the two worlds, for his participation in independence struggles in Europe and Latin America. Along the inner rim from 9 to 11 o'clock, the name of the state "SAN MARINO", at 2 o'clock the year. The mint letter "R" for Rome is above the shoulder. The engraver's signature, "ELF", for Ettore Lorenzo Frapiccini, is at 8 o'clock along the inner rim.⁤⁣
