At the bottom right, the text "The Lord of the Rings" is placed. At the bottom left is the year 2022. On the reverse of the coincard is an image of the character Legolas, played by Orlando Bloom.

⁣⁢The coin features, in the center, the White Tree of Gondor, a symbol of the continent of Gondor, which brings luck, according to the inhabitants. Around the tree is the famous text that is also found on the ring. The text reads: "One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them." On the reverse is the logo of the Central Bank of Malta, the private mark, and the year of issue.⁤⁣
