OBVERSE

Commemorative coin for the 200th anniversary of the postal route connecting Vienna to Bratislava. The design depicts a fast stagecoach with 2 horses and the symbol of horse-drawn express mail in the center. At the bottom, the inscriptions "1823" "VIEDEN" "BRATISLAVA" and "2023". On the right, the Kremnica mint mark "MK" and the author's initials (Maria Poldaufova). On the outer rim, 12 pointed stars representing the European Union. Issued on October 11, 2023, to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the start of regular horse-drawn express mail on the Vienna-Bratislava route.
