OBVERSE

Nicknamed the "Battle of the Three Emperors," the coins in this collection honor the three belligerents. The obverse features portraits of Alexander I and Francis I facing Napoleon the Victorious, riding at first light on the battlefield of Austerlitz. In the foreground, Napoleon's legions form ranks and march in step towards the battlefield.

REVERSE

The reverse of this coin is inspired by the original medal struck in 1806 in honor of Napoleon's victory at Austerlitz. In the center, a winged scepter topped with a statuette of Charlemagne and accompanied by lightning bolts. This composition evokes the entire symbolism of Napoleon I's ancient imperial imagery.
