OBVERSE

⁣⁢The obverse and reverse of the coin show the baseline of a tennis court and in
background the Moucharabieh of the Roland Garros stadium. This iconic pattern covers
outside the Philippe-Chatrier court. In the center of the piece is represented a racket
tennis as well as a ball placed on it. We find the word RF on the face of the
currency and face value on the reverse.⁤⁣

REVERSE

The terms "pile" (reverse) and "face" (obverse) refer to the "Toss," which means to throw in English and designates the coin toss at the start of a match. The chair umpire tosses a coin, and the winning player chooses between serving and receiving, or choosing their side. It's a quick and fair way to start a match.
