This Finnish miniset from 2026 celebrates the beauty of the Finnish lakes, a fundamental pillar of modern democracies.

Coins from 1 to 50 cents: the Finnish heraldic lion as it appears on the coat of arms of Finland, i.e., crowned, brandishing a sword with its right foreleg, itself protected by a piece of armor, and walking on a saber. To the left, the year of minting. The whole is surrounded by the 12 stars of the European flag. The engraving is by Heikki Häiväoja. The lion was already present on the mark coins.

1 Euro coin: two swans in flight above a landscape composed of a lake and hills. To the right, on a hill, the year of minting. The whole is surrounded by the 12 stars of the European flag on the outer ring. The engraving is by Pertti Mäkinen.

2 Euro coin: a cloudberry and lakka flowers (or swamp berry). Below, the year of minting. The whole is surrounded by the 12 stars of the European flag on the outer ring. The engraving is by Raimo Heino.
