OBVERSE

⁣⁢The obverse represents one of Kitagawa Utamaro's works: Young girl blowing into a glass pipe, painted in 1794. The coins of 50€ and 10€ focus on the young girl while the 200€ coin covers the whole picture. The “museum masterpiece” stamp which marks all the coins in this series has been added at the top right and blends into the work. The particularity of the 10€ Silver is that it is colored and in the background we can distinguish the dome of the library of the Guimet museum.
On the 50€, we can also see the dome of the Guimet museum library in the background. The name of the work, that of the artist as well as the year 2023 complete the decor.⁤⁣

REVERSE

⁣⁢The reverse is common to the series; it features a blend of views from several major French museums: top left is an interior view of the Musée d’Orsay, recognizable by its superb clock. Next to it, we see a view of the Louvre facade, visible from the Napoleon Courtyard (where the famous pyramid is located). Below these two elements, we see a fresco on the Hôtel Salé, which houses the Picasso Museum. The lower part of the reverse displays a view of the facade of the Hôtel Biron, which is the current Rodin Museum. Above it, we find the famous staircase of the Centre Pompidou. The face value, the mention " French Republic ", and the Paris Mint marks are also inscribed on this reverse.⁤⁣
