On the obverse, a depiction of the painting titled "The Virgin and Child" (in Italian "Madonna col Bambino"), painted by the artist Perugino (in Italian Perugino, born in 1446 and died in 1523), the name of the issuing country SAN MARINO, the year of the Italian painter's death, 1523, the year of minting, 2023, the letter R from the Rome mint, and the initials MAC from the engraver Maria Angela Cassol; on the ring, the twelve emblematic five-pointed stars pointing upwards.

REVERSE
