OBVERSE

On the obverse of this coin, emblematic elements of the novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas unfold, evoking the marine universe. Captain Nemo, aboard the famous Nautilus, is in the center, behind the tentacles of a giant squid. Below the shark, three divers advance, in search of treasure. In the background, the wreck of an ancient ship symbolizes the characters' underwater adventures. The title of the novel, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas, as well as the author's name, Jules Verne, and the year 2025 are also present.

REVERSE

The reverse is common to the entire "Art of the Pen" series. It features several emblematic quotes such as "The best is the enemy of the good" by Voltaire, "Lasciate ogne speranza voi ch’intrate" by Dante Alighieri, "To be or not to be, that is the question" by William Shakespeare, and "What does not kill me makes me stronger" by Nietzsche. A feather is engraved in the center of the coin. Below it is the title of the series. The mention "RF" is present at the bottom of the coin, as are the mint marks of Joaquin Jimenez and the engraving workshop.
