OBVERSE

The obverse of this coin illustrates the bust of Benjamin Franklin, inspired by the sculpture created by Jean-Antoine Houdon. The inscription in a crown reads: "Benjamin Franklin born in Boston January 17, 1706." The "RF" mark and the year 2025 are integrated to the left and right of the bust.

REVERSE

On the reverse, a winged genius repelling lightning towards a lightning rod is depicted in the center, referencing Benjamin Franklin's invention of the lightning rod. He walks beside a broken scepter and crown. Along the crown, we can read "He snatched lightning from the heavens and the scepter from tyrants." The face value and hallmarks are to the right of the composition.
