⁣⁢Erected in the 12th century at the initiative of Bishop Maurice de Sully, Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral is a jewel of Gothic architecture that has dominated the Île de la Cité for over eight centuries. This year, the Paris Mint celebrates the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris to the public by striking a 2-euro commemorative coin, engraving for eternity the lines of this Gothic art gem.⁤⁣
