OBVERSE

⁣⁢The face of the coin represents a pure rose, with a supple and delicate corolla. Nine in number, in reference to the 90 years celebrated by the collection, the petals surround a polished heart. This one is surrounded by an Ô, the hallmark of Maison Lancôme, distinguished by its shine on the pulp of the petals. Through this drawing, Joaquin Jimenez offers his vision of the flower
mythical of the brand: modern, elegant and warm.⁤⁣

REVERSE

⁣⁢On the reverse, the same petals tell of Lancôme’s know-how. Three patterns adorn the body of the flower, they embody the three worlds of the brand: perfumery, skincare and makeup. On one side, roses in bloom evoke nature and the raw materials of the products. On the other, a fine guilloche pattern symbolizing the know-how of
men, reminiscent of the embossing found in the powder of makeup palettes. The last three petals are covered with waves taking the shape of a smile, like the bottle of the brand's iconic perfume: La Vie est Belle. These also recall the shape of a ricochet on the water, evoking fluidity and Absolute care. Right in the center of the rose, the Ô, as if obviously, links the stages of the story depicted on the petals.⁤⁣
