Nickel For Goodbye tells how someone could have been extremely rich and very happy if they had received a nickel for every mistake, insecurity, or stupid decision. Everyone has experienced these moments in their lives. Racoon has already released English and Dutch music. Their last English album was in 2017. The band will release a new English album in 2024.

The Nickel For Goodbye coin card features an image of the band members on the reverse: from left to right, Maarten van Damme (bassist), Dennis Huige (guitarist), Bart van der Weide (singer), and Paul Bukkens (drummer). Semicircles are visible in the background, representing the shapes of a plate, referencing the band's new single. On the front of the medal is an R for Racoon in the center, surrounded by "Nickel For Goodbye". The design is based on the illustrations from the single. The mint mark and the master craftsman's mark are also on the reverse.
