Gold Strike in Pure Gold Disney Classics "The Fox and the Hound"

For over 80 years, Disney Studios' animated films have captivated audiences young and old. The characters all embody universal moral values. The Fox and the Hound: Disney Studios' 29th "animated classic" has been immortalized on this 24-carat gold strike.

Inspired by Daniel P. Mannix's novel "The Fox and the Hound," the story tells the adventures of Tod, an orphaned fox cub, who befriends the farm animals where he is taken in, and Copper, the neighbor's youngest hunting dog.

On the obverse, you'll find the characters of Tod and Copper playfully frolicking. They are illustrated with vibrant colors that precisely match the original colors from the Disney film. On the reverse, you can find iconic characters from the Disney universe such as Ariel, Snow White, or Mowgli.
