Present on the coins of the French Revolution, the Genius embodies an allegorical concept, a strong idea that unites. As the central figure of the Monnaie de Paris's new numismatic trilogy, the Genius's centuries-old heritage is reborn at the heart of a collection presenting it in three of its multiple facets. Unveiled starting January 2026, the first installment of this new trilogy is dedicated to the Genius of Liberty, commonly called the Genius of the Bastille. The following two installments of the trilogy will highlight other figures of genius, spanning ages and revolutions to unite the sovereign people.
