OBVERSE
The obverse of the coins features the handover between the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games and the French Alps 2030 Winter Olympic Games.
Two athletes can be seen, an Italian on the left and a French on the right, recognizable by the wristbands in the heraldic colors of their respective countries. They are passing a snowflake, a symbol of the handover between the two editions. In the background, two Alpine mountains represent the Winter Games in both countries. The mint marks of the Monnaie de Paris and Joaquin Jimenez are engraved on the obverse.
REVERSE
The reverse of this coin displays the Italian flag on the left and the French flag on the right, represented in heraldry, along with two mountains from the Alps range. It features the emblem of the city of Milan, a participating city in the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games, and the emblem of the city of Nice, a participant in the French Alps 2030 Winter Games. The face value and the year of minting are also engraved there.
